Since I draw and print onto the
uncarved blocks to develop the image, I often have to transfer one
block design to another block. I ink up the design I want to
transfer and print it on a slick paper. I then switch blocks in the
press guide, re-register the printed paper and apply pressure,
transferring the image to the blank or new block. I pencil in what I
want, allow it to dry and then seal it with Shellac. The second
block is now ready to carve and registered to the first.
